Job title: Food Service Supervisor
Subway Store located at 1567 Alta Vista Dr, Ottawa, ON K1G 0E9 is one of the most busiest locations and urgently need experienced, motivated and innovative restaurant supervisor. This is a challenging position where you will be required to work late evenings and weekends.
Job Description
As a full-time Food Service Supervisor, the applicant should be a team worker, punctual, proactive, outgoing and dependable.
As a Food Service Supervisor, the main duties and responsibilities will be:
- Perform supervisory duties as outlined in the Subway’s ® Operational Manual.
- Supervise, and schedule the duties of staff.
- Estimate and order food supplies required for the restaurant.
- Determine staff scheduling.
- Maintain records of delivery, inventory, sales and food waste.
- Train new staff in job duties and safety procedures.
- Follow all Franchise Standards of operation, policies and procedures.
- Maintain proper temperature of food line items.
- Oversee shortlisting of food packages and check daily updates.
- Ensure standards of hygiene are maintained and that the restaurant complies with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained
- Implement and instill in your team company policies, procedures and ethics
- Handle customer complaints and queries
Skills:
• Able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail; ability to multi-task.
• Good supervisory skills.
• Must have good communication with line cook and cooks
• Must be skilled in time management.
• Must have teaching and motivational skills.

Salary: $28.50 per hour
