Viva Care Medical in Burnaby, located inside Walmart, offers comprehensive healthcare services including family practice, specialist consultations, chronic disease management, and mental health services. We also provide virtual appointments and in-person visits by appointment. We are hiring an Administrative Clerks Supervisor to join our team.
Job Duties:
1. Supervise and allocate tasks to administrative staff to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care and accurate record management.
2. Develop and implement clinic policies aimed at enhancing office efficiency and streamlining workflows for optimal performance.
3. Oversee daily clinic operations, including managing patient inquiries, appointments, staff schedules, facility maintenance, and budgeting.
4. Ensure accurate payment records, including tracking office expenses, patient payments, insurance claims, and repairs.
5. Approve payments for clinic supply orders, facility maintenance, and repairs.
6. Resolve conflicts and promote team development, fostering a positive work environment.
7. Lead administrative staff meetings and contribute ideas for continuous improvement of clinic operations and procedures.
8. Provide management with regular reports on administrative operations, team development, budgets, maintenance, and clinic updates.
9. Work closely with healthcare providers and administrative staff to support the clinic’s daily functions and provide ongoing training in clinic procedures and policies.
10. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain strict confidentiality of both employee and patient information.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or above is required
2. A minimum 1+ year of administrative or medical administrative or related field work experience is required
3. Able to handle a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service
4. Excellent organizational and administrative skills with impeccable attention to detail
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
