Our family is seeking a full-time housekeeper to work in our private household in Vancouver, 40 hours/week, $19/hour, Wednesday to Sunday.
Duties:
Sweep, mop, wash, wax and polish floors
Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
Make beds, change sheets and distribute clean towels and toiletries
Distribute clean towels and toiletries
Stock linen closets and other supplies' areas
Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry
Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
Handle and report lost and found items
Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items
Pick up debris and empty trash containers
Wash windows, walls and ceilings
Qualifications and skills:
English language is required.
Listening skills to ensure meeting the employer's needs for cleanliness and sanitation standards.
Good customer service skills
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Integrity and honesty
Work well in a family environment and independently.
Willingness to learn new cleaning methods and how to use various pieces of equipment.
Flexible about 8-hour shift and able to work on weekends
Comfortable working with pets
Previous work experience is an asset
