Duties
Responsible for establishing, maintaining and balancing various accounts and financial records using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Post journal entries, preparing trial balance of books and financial statements, keeping general ledgers and reconciling all accounts.
Record sales, expenses, invoices and payments and maintain variety of Excel and Word sheets
Preparing supplier reconciliations for utility services, tax and all other bills and accounts, before creating electronic fund transfers or cheque payments
Tax remittance forms need to be prepared and duly submitted, preparing tax returns for filing, pension contribution forms, personal bookkeeping services and other government documents
Preparing the necessary statistical, financial and accounting reports including year-end documents
Other general bookkeeping duties requested from management
Must be fluent in English
Education
Graduated from High School
Post-secondary certificate or diploma or degree in accounting or bookkeeping from any jurisdiction
Experience
Several years’ experience working in accounting or bookkeeping position
Proficient with Excel and Quickbooks or another full accounting system
Wage
$32.40 per hour
8 hours a day / 40 hours a week
