Job duties:
• During times of incapacitation, recuperation, or family upheaval, provide people and families with care and company.
• Provide clients with personal care and bedside assistance, including assistance with walking, bathing,
personal hygiene, and putting on and taking off clothes.
• Create and prepare specific diets and meals, then serve or help clients eat.
• May carry out standard medical tasks under the supervision of a nurse or home care agency supervisor,
such as changing non-sterile bandages, helping to administer medicine, and gathering specimens.
• May carry out standard domestic tasks including dishwashing, bed making, and laundry.
• Perform light housekeeping and other duties.
