Job Details:
• Position: Marketing Specialist (NOC 11202)
• Type of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Hours of work: 30 hours per week. Weekend shifts are expected.
• Hourly salary: $30.50 per hour
• Overtime pay: $45.75 if work over 8h/day or 40h/week
• Work location: 201-18 Street N. Brandon, MB R7A 2V8

Job Duties:
1. Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to capture more market attention and improve competitiveness, including conducting various promotional events, making advertising plans, and formulating a digital marketing network through social media to increase product awareness and expand brand effect.
2. Review, analyze, and evaluate the performance of completed marketing campaigns and activities and generate reports for the management team.
3. Advise on budget plans and monitor the use of funds for strategic marketing campaigns and events.
4. Design customer market research to identify the public's preferences and explore new dishes/meals.
5. Stay tuned for government policies and procedures changes and adjust the promotion strategies in time to comply with related regulations.
6. Conduct internal seminars and meetings to analyze and assess dishes/meals and their market performance and make pointed upgrades.
7. Prepare documents and materials such as product descriptions and marketing program plans for the management team and other departments to facilitate internal discussion and communication.
8. Build and maintain relationships with media, including developing advertising partnerships, keeping regular contact, and holding information exchange activities.
9. Establish and maintain relationships with partners and distributors, collect their suggestions and feedback on products or services, and make proposals for specifications and types of products and services to production and sales departments.
10. Develop and implement sales promotions for significant days, major holidays, or festivals.
11. Focus on competitors' performance and market dynamics, and write analysis reports for the reference of the management team to make correct decisions.
Job Requirements:
1. A bachelor’s degree is required.
2. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Marketing Specialist.
3. Experience in the food industry is a strong asset.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure and stand for extended periods.
5. Weekend/evening/holiday hours are required.
