Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the dine-in/take-out food service establishment
- Orders food ingredients and other related supplies
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in food preparation and serving
- Prepares budget and cost estimates when necessary
- Arranges and coordinates work shifts/schedules and work activities of staff
- Assists in the process of hiring of new staff, when necessary
- Performs daily inventory counts and records of both necessary and wasted supplies/stock, sales, etc.
- Approaches with the best possible solutions when encountered with potential conflicts/issues, such as customer complaints, shortage of stock/inventory, etc.
- Assists in the development process of restaurant/cafe procedures and policies, when necessary
- Trains and mentors new and current employees on workplace safety, sanitation and job duties
- Ensures that health and safety regulations as well as quality control standards are being met in order to maintain sanitary environment and excellent food and service

Academic, Training and Experience Qualifications
- Completion of high school education
- 1-2 years of previous experience in food preparation/handling required
Wage
- Salary: $17 per hour for 30 ~ 40 hours a week at 52 weeks a year
