Sun West School Division invites applications for anEducational AssistantinElrose Composite School, Elrose, SK. This is a temporary position, 5.91 hours per day, 5 days of the 6 day cycle & 4.61 hours per day, 1 day of the 6 day cycle, plus professional development days as required,starting as soon as possible and ending June 26, 2024.

This position works as a collaborative member of a team providing assistance to teachers in the delivery and implementation of educational programs and services that facilitate the integration, growth, learning, safety and comfort of students with special needs. The successful candidate will work one-on-one with special needs students, youth with learning disabilities, those on modified and alternate programs, and those with health and behavior-related issues. The individual will assist in the classroom as well as providing pull-out support for individual or small group assistance.

Salary and benefits for this position will be in accordance with the current Collective Agreement of CUPE Local 4802.

Wage Range: $19.25 to $21.60 per hour
