The IT Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation and continuous improvement of the IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities will span a wide range of activities, including managing the software delivery systems, overseeing IT support services, implementing security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize technology functions and resources.


Job Duties:
1. Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company’s SaaS delivery infrastructure. Collaborate with the development and operations teams to ensure efficient and scalable software delivery processes.
2. Conduct a thorough assessment of the company’s current data processing and operational practices, and understand existing workflows, data sources, storage methods, and processing mechanisms.
3. Develop comprehensive policies that cover the entire data lifecycle including data classification, access controls, encryption, backup, and retention. Specify guidelines for quality, integrity, and consistency.
4. Contribute to the development of the company’s technology strategy, aligning IT initiatives with the business goals. Evaluate and recommend new technologies that can enhance our SaaS delivery capabilities.
5. Lead the development and execution of disaster planning and data backups.
6. Research and gain a good understanding of the client’s industry, business model, and specific needs. Gather requirements, discuss technical specifications, estimate costs, define timelines, summarize the final plan and follow up with actions.
7. Clearly define the roles and responsibilities of each IT team member. Efficiently allocate resources based on the project's requirements. Consider factors such as workload, expertise, and individual strengths when assigning tasks.
8. Implement performance monitoring mechanisms to assess the team's progress and individual contributions. Provide constructive feedback and recognize achievements.
9. Work with finance and relevant departments to establish a comprehensive budgeting process. Develop detailed cost estimates for IT projects and ongoing operations considering hardware, software, personnel, training, maintenance and other relevant costs. Conduct regular budget reviews to ensure it aligns with business objectives.
10. Track resource utilization, including personnel hours and infrastructure usage. Identify areas of underutilization or overutilization and adjust resources accordingly.


Qualifications:
1. At least a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field is required.
2. 3+ years of proven experience in IT including data management, software engineering, network administration and relevant roles is required.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
4. Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems such as Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring techniques.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address IT-related challenges.
6. Strong project management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
