Location of Employment: Mile Marker 122 on Highway 97 (John Hart Highway), Pine Pass Summit / 56290 Hwy 97, Mackenzie, British Columbia, Canada.

Job Title: Cafeteria Supervisor (NOC: 62020)
Salary: $ 18.50 / hour
Type: Full time, Permanent 40 hours/week & non-seasonal. Some overtime, evenings, weekends may be required.

Job Description:
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for department.
• Ensure proper daily opening and closing of department.
• Establish work schedules and procedures and coordinate activities with other work unit departments.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards set by management.
• Maintain positive mental energy and serve department with specific enthusiasm.
• May perform the same duties as workers supervise.
Minimum Education/Work Experience:
• Completion of High School
• Any other educational courses/certifications or related work experience in the restaurant sector.
• A minimum of 1 year of work experience is required.
Skills/Other Requirements:
• Fluent English is required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Reliable, responsible, goal-oriented individual
• Food Safety Certificate
Benefits:
• Accommodation is available on premises. The suite includes a private room with a bathroom and kitchenette for $162.50 CAD charged bi-weekly.
Location of Employment:
• Driving- 2 hours, 14 minutes north of Prince George BC. Or 1 hour, 15 minutes south of Chetwynd BC. Or 50 minutes north of Mackenzie BC. (Note- driving times is during normal dry road conditions, winter conditions will increase travel times)
• The resort is serviced by the BC Bus which travels North 2 times per week and South 2 times per week. We have high speed fiber optic internet Rogers/Fido cellular coverage and VOIP Telephones
