Landscape Labourer (NOC 85121)
Employer: Seven M Construction Ltd.
Job Location: Various locations in Edmonton, Alberta
Wage: $19.25 to $23.00 / hour (salary based on experience) (salary increases per company policy)
Employment terms and conditions: Seasonal, Full-time (44 hours/week), Early morning, Morning, Day, Weekend; Overtime and holidays may be required.

Language: Basic English
Education: No education required
Experience: No experience required. Company will train.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Manual dexterity, Attention to detail, Walking, Bending, Crouching, Kneeling, Working under Pressure, Fast-paced environment, Repetitive tasks
Weight Handling: Up to 23kg (50lbs)
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Work Site Environment: Outdoors, dusty
Work setting: Landscape contractor, park and recreation sites, urban area, commercial

Equipment and Machinery Used: Roto-tiller, Tractor mower, Weed trimmer/edger, Lawn mowers, Shovel
Duties:
• Assist with landscape constructions
• Weed, prune and trim trees and plants
• Cut grass
• Rake and collect refuse
• Remove litter and garbage
• Cart and spread topsoil and other materials
• Lay sod or seed
• Plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs and trees
• Apply fertilizers
• Rake and spread topsoil to grade
• Install mulch and other decorative rock
• Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens
• Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
• May drive some small equipment
