Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. Work site environment: At heights. Work setting: Various locations. Tasks: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Sand, trim, grind or clean products into final form using hand tools. Observe equipment, panel indicators, video monitors, and other instruments to ensure that processes are operating according to specifications. Assemble, install and set-up merchandise/products. Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit and reinforce joints. Ensure safety procedures are followed. Security and safety: Bondable. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Handling heavy loads. Overtime required. Physically demanding. Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Personal suitability: Reliability. Team player. Experience: Experience an asset.- LocationShediac, NB
