Description

Grenfell Child Care Centre is urgently seeking a caregiver for their unlicensed before and after school program.  The program is located in a classroom at Grenfell Elementary Community School and will run from 7am-school start and 3:25pm-6:00pm.  Care will be provided on school days for children in Kindergarten-Grade 6.  Working hours will be 7-10am and 3-6pm.  Time outside of caregiving hours will be devoted to creating child and staff schedules, planning and shopping for snack menu, organizing and purchasing supplies for activities, and general organization of the before and after school program. The Grenfell Child Care Centre director will be the supervisor of this position.

Duties:
-preparing child and staff schedules
-communicating with parents
-creating menu and shopping for groceries within set budget
-preparing and serving morning and afternoon snack
-planning and providing planned activities within set budget
-cleaning and sanitizing classroom and attached bathroom
-helping with homework
-modelling appropriate behaviour and conflict resolution

Qualifications:
-Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
-First Aid & CPR
-18 years of age or older

Compensation:
- $18.00/hr base wage
- Signing incentives can be discussed
