We currently have a full-time opportunity for an Accounting Clerk on our Retail Support team based out of our office in Stellarton, NS.
Here's where you'll be focusing:
- Process all customer payments in a timely and efficient manner
- Post daily deposits from customer accounts
- Post weekly payments
- Process sales representative collections
- Process sales and payments
- Post miscellaneous charges to customer accounts
- Post month end billings
- Transmit daily EFT files to bank and post payments to customer accounts
- Post and clear donation accounts
- Positive relationships with credit and retail teams
- Ensure risks associated with AR are minimized through adherence to effective policies and procedures
What you have to offer:
- Post secondary education in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Accounts Receivable experience preferred
- Experience with EFT preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written
- Ability to provide a high level of Customer service
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of SAP preferred
