Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
Post journal entries
Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
Reconcile accounts

Skills requirements:
Completion of Secondary (High) School Certificate is required
Completion of courses or a post-secondary program in Accounting or Bookkeeping or a related field is required
2 years to 3 years experience as an accountant, bookkeeper, financial or accounting clerk, banking officer or work experience in a related field is required.
