We are looking to hire 4 permanent full time Plasterer for various locations across lower mainland as soon as possible.
Job Duties include
• Apply level and smooth coats of plaster.
• Clean and prepare surfaces
• Spray acoustic or texture materials over walls and ceilings.
• Mix plasters ingredients to desired consistency.
• Cure freshly plastered surfaces.
• Finish corners and angles and create decorative designs in finish coat, if required
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
• Erect and install scaffolding, false work and other working platforms
Employment Requirements:
• The positions require an experience of 1 to 2 years in drywall, taping and plastering.
• Minimum high school education and good communication skills in English language are required
• Ideal candidates should be dependable, have sound judgement, be client focused, flexible, team player and reliable.
• The incumbents should be capable of handling heavy loads, have good hand-eye co-ordination, and be able to perform repetitive tasks, meet tight deadlines.
• The position is physically demanding and requires walking, bending, crouching, kneeling, manual dexterity and standing for extended periods. The candidates may be required to work at heights, in noisy, dusty, hot and outdoor spaces.
Terms of Employment:
The candidates are expected to be available for work for morning and day time. These are full time (30 - 40 hours per week) and permanent positions with a salary of $29.00/Hour. Employer will provide medical, dental and vision care benefits.
