Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manage the operations of the housekeeping department
• Plan and co-ordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and other cleaning employees
• Conduct inspections to ensure that departmental standards and health and safety regulations are being met
• Select and purchase equipment and supplies, and maintain inventory
• Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery
• Hire, train and supervise housekeeping staff
• Prepare budgets and housekeeping employee schedules.
Working Hours: 8 hours per day 40 hours per week, required to work days and nights
Wage/Benefit: $23.00/hour
Employment Requirements:
• Education: Completion of secondary education.
• Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year similar experience required
