Job Description: The Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse will adhere to and promote the Mission, Vision, and Values of the Saskatchewan Health Authority. Participate in improving the quality of care through continuous Quality Improvement activities. Maintain a positive environment and demonstrate behaviours conducive to effective relationships with staff, colleagues, physicians and the public. Provide or coordinate health care services for the purpose of promoting, maintaining, restoring or preventing illness and alleviating suffering.
Required Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Bachelor Degree/Diploma in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

Note:  This position is open to all SUN members within the bargaining unit as per Article 27.05 of the SUN Collective Bargaining Agreement, however first preference will be given to employees of Sunrise Health Region.
