<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Job description</strong></p><p>Responsibilities:<br />- Oversee daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation<br />- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations<br />- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed<br />- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations<br />- Collaborate with the restaurant manager to develop menus and create new dishes<br />- Monitor food quality and consistency to ensure customer satisfaction<br />- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly<br />- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment<br />- Adhere to budgetary guidelines and control costs</p><p>Skills:<br />- Strong experience in restaurant management, preferably in a kitchen manager role<br />- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience<br />- In-depth knowledge of the food industry, including current trends and best practices<br />- Ability to conduct interviews and select qualified kitchen staff members<br />- Familiarity with hotel kitchen operations is a plus<br />- Proficient in food preparation techniques and knowledgeable about various cuisines<br />- Thorough understanding of food safety regulations and procedures<br />- Proven ability to effectively supervise and motivate a team of kitchen employees<br />- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment</p><p>-Catering and event experience an asset</p><p>Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
