Specific skills:
1 Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials;
2 Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment;
3 Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy;
4 Transport and handle dangerous goods;
5 Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle;
6 Receive and relay information to central dispatch;
7 Perform brake adjustments;
8 Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption
