About this opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at St. Dulwich Academy, located at 7960 River Rd, Richmond BC. You will work closely with our Early Childhood Educator to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our young children to learn and grow.

Job Details:
Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant (ECEA)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $18-$19 per hour
Working hours: 35 hours per week
Position Available: 2
Responsibilities:
• Support and assist early childhood educators in implementing age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of children.
• Provide a safe environment for children to explore and engage in learning experiences.
• Supervise and engage with children during indoor and outdoor activities, such as teaching songs, playing games, and telling stories.
• Assist with daily routines, such as diapering, toileting, handwashing, serving meals and snacks, and promoting healthy eating habits.
• Observe and provide feedback on children’s behavior, progress, and milestones to early childhood educators.
• Engage in professional development, training sessions, workshops, and staff meeting.

Requirements:
• High school diploma
• Valid Early Childhood Education Assistant (ECEA) license
• Knowledge of child development principles in early childhood education
• Positive working attitude and patience with children
• Ability to pass a criminal record check
