Required - Welder (NOC 72106)
Canwe Solutions Ltd. is a Western Canadian welding engineering consultancy company providing services in Canada since 2014. We are an APEGA registered engineering company providing services in the welding industry as a subject matter expert (SME). Services include welding engineering, material engineering, mechanical engineering, advise in welding consumables, development of welding procedure specifications, PQR, WPDS, welding manual, welding inspection, quality control, welder and welding operator performance qualification testing, mechanical testing, welder training, and optimizing welding operational efficiency. We are proficient in handling a wide range of materials which are listed and unlisted in the different ASME, CSA, API and other industrial construction codes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
• Operate equipment using expected industry processes such as SMAW, SAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW
• Determine weldability of materials like Iron, stainless steel & heavy metals etc.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Interpret welding process specifications.
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment.
• Read and comprehend welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes.
• Manage manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment.
• Operate brakes, shears, and other metal shaping, straightening, and bending machines.
• Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal.
• Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
• Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing and soldering equipment.
• Check weld tightness using air technique.

Salary Range: CAD$ 37.50/hour - CAD$ 41.00/hour
