Job Description
The Inventory Control Supervisor will monitor the supermarket's inventory and stock in its warehouse in Halifax.
Main responsibilities:
(1) Supporting the manager with daily operations and controlling the inventory at reasonable level;
(2) Monitor shipping, receiving, storing, distributing and perform regular inventory analysis across daily, weekly, and monthly intervals to proactively address potential issues;
(3) Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures for safety and security standards and regulations in force and participate in their improvement;
(4) Resolve various problems and related complaints and implement corrective measures and process improvements;
(5) Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work;
(6) Audit operational processes and compliance procedures, providing recommendations to enhance inventory management;
(7) Conduct performance reviews of supervised workers.
