Camecos Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) department in Saskatoon is looking for an enthusiastic team player and critical thinker to join the compliance and licensing team for a one-year term as we assist Camecos efforts in energizing a clean air world. In this role you will interpret and analyze environmental data while supporting regulatory and licensing initiatives. This is a temporary 12 month contract.
In this role, you will:
-Assisting in the preparation of various reports
-Reviewing and researching new regulatory initiatives
-Providing corporate oversite to Northern Saskatchewan operations
-Participating in various environmental projects
-Contributing to operational audits or investigations
Required:
-Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science
-Three to eight years of relevant work experience
-Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
-Excellent report writing skills
-Data analysis experience
Recommended:
-Preference for Masters degree in Environmental Science
-Previous mining or milling experience
-Environmental sampling and monitoring procedural knowledge
-Understanding of federal and provincial environmental regulations
