LILLOOET AUTOBODY TOWING & SALVAGE LTD. is looking for 1 Tow Truck Driver. This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 40 hours per week. Our company is located at 205 Main St, PO Box 159 Lillooet, British Columbia V0K 1V0
The Job Duties for this position will be:
Receiving communications from the company dispatcher.
Driving to the scene of a vehicle breakdown or accident.
Interacting with the customer to find out the nature of the problem.
Performing roadside vehicle diagnostics.
Performing minor repairs.
Jump-starting vehicles, changing tires and reconnecting vehicle parts.
Suggesting a course of action.
Connecting the damaged vehicle to the truck with a chain, winch or steering block.
Towing the vehicle to an authorized service station or junkyard.
Reporting to base and completing paperwork.
May perform emergency roadside repairs
Ensure vehicles are secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures
May drive as part of a two-person team or convoy
Operate and drive primarily tractor-trailer, long-combination vehicle and straight-body trucks
Record hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption

Job Requirements:
English is required
On-the-job-training is provided.
Completion of high school is required
Class 1 drivers license is required
What we offer:
$29 per hour
4% vacation pay
