Job Details:
• Location: Brampton, ON, L6R 0L2
• Salary: $28.50/hourly for 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
• Working Hours: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Morning, Night, Weekend
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• Vacancies: 1 position available
Overview:
• Languages Required: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Work Site Environment:
• Outdoors, Noisy, Dusty, Hot
Work Setting:
• Construction site
Responsibilities & Tasks:
• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction.
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock at construction sites.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Direct traffic near construction sites.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• Assist skilled tradespersons.
• Rig and hoist equipment.
• Transport materials and tools to and from work areas.
• Move, sort, and pile materials and products

• Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, physically demanding, tight deadlines, manual dexterity, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, overtime required.
