Job Description
. Calculate how much installing the equipment will cost.
. Get sales or other contracts ready.
. Encourage sales to current customers
. Determine and approach possible customers
. Determine the resources and demands of the client in order to suggest the best products or services.
. Create studies and proposals that highlight the advantages of using a good or service.
. Make presentations for sales.
. Create and manage sales agreements.
. Contribute to product design when items or services need to be customised to meet the needs of the customer
. Consult with customers to ensure continued support following the transaction.
. Teach customers' employees how to use and maintain their equipment.
. Present to clients the advantages and applications of products or services.
. Troubleshoot equipment-related issues.
. Oversee the work of more technical sales professionals.

. Estimate costs of installing equipment
. Prepare sales or other contracts
. Promote sales to existing clients
. Identify and solicit potential clients
. Assess client’s needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
. Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of good or service
. Deliver sales presentations
. Prepare and administer sales contracts
. Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client's needs
. Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
. Train customers' staff in the operation and maintenance of equipment
. Provide clients with presentations on the benefits and uses of goods or services
. Troubleshoot problems related to equipment
