JOB DESCRIPTION
Ott Transportation Services Inc. located at 8952 Holt Road, Surrey, BC, V3V4H2, Canada is seeking to hire 1 full-time Bookkeeper to perform the accounting duties of their trucking business. The Job is permanent, and the qualified employee will be paid hourly at the rate of $27.50 for 40 hours per week. The candidate who wishes to apply should have Secondary (High School graduation) certificate and should be able to communicate in English. He or she should also have one to two years of experience in the accounting field to perform the accounting work in an effective manner. Moreover, the candidate is required to work mornings, day, and overtime.
-Task Responsibilities:
Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll. Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Maintain general ledgers and financial statements. Post journal entries. Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports. Prepare tax returns. Prepare trial balance of books, Reconcile accounts.
