Job duties are as follows but not limited to:
• Review and process immigration applications for various programs, ensuring all required documents are complete and accurate.
• Verify information provided in applications against legal and procedural requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all applications, correspondence, and decisions.
• Organize and file documents both electronically and physically.
• Communicate with applicants to request additional information or documents as needed.
• Provide information and updates to applicants regarding the status of their applications.
• Ensure all applications comply with immigration laws and regulations.
• Coordinate with other immigration officials, legal advisors, and government agencies to facilitate the processing of applications.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies in applications.
• Manage a caseload of applications, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
• Monitor the progress of applications and follow up on pending cases.
• Stay updated on changes to immigration policies and procedures.
• Implement new procedures and guidelines as required by changes in legislation or policy.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering inquiries and providing guidance on immigration processes and requirements.
• Assist clients with completing application forms and understanding the application process.
• Prepare reports on the status of applications, processing times, and other relevant metrics.
• Provide data and analysis to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Conduct regular audits of processed applications to ensure adherence to standards and identify areas for improvement.
• Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency in processing.
Basic Qualifications:
• Post-Secondary Education
• Minimum 1 year of previous work experience in an administrative role.
