Term of Employment:
-Permanent Position, minimum 40 hours per week.
-Additional hours of work per week available as required by projects.
Location of Work: Winnipeg, Manitoba (and surrounding areas)
Wage: $26.60 per Hour

Responsibilities
•Operate heavy equipment such as Skid-Steers, Excavators, Backhoe, Front-end wheel loaders, and others during construction or related tasks.
•Visually inspect construction sites to check for land grading, the location of various underground utilities, and other obstacles that may deter or affect construction.
•Clean, lubricate and refuel equipment before and after use, and perform light maintenance tasks.
•Follow all safety precautions especially when loading, unloading, and operating heavy equipment.
•Operate heavy equipment safely and proficiently near to utilities and other structures without damaging them.
Qualifications
•Some secondary school education is required.
•Minimum 1 year of work experience in operating 2 of the 4 following heavy equipment vehicles:
oSkid Steer
oExcavator – 20 to 50 tons
oBackhoe
oFront-end wheel loaders
•Valid driver’s license.
•Capable of working in a fast-paced, dusty, and noisy environment.
•Willing to work extended hours during construction season (typically summer).
•Attention to detail and follow instructions.
•Able to work well in a team environment.
