Position details are as follows:
Job Title: Cook
Number of Vacancies: 1
Location of work: 1031-1163 Pinetree Way Across Lincoln Station -facing, Lincoln Ave, Coquitlam, BC V3B 8A9
Job Type: Full-time, permanent position with 35-40 hours per week.
Compensation: $18/ hour, overtime at the rate of 1.5 after 8 hours per day/40 hours per week
Benefits: As per BC employment standards
Key duties:
. Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods as per the laid down menu
. Plan menus, determine the size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs
. Train staff in the preparation, cooking, and handling of food
. Monitor inventory and order supplies and equipment when needed
. Inspect food supplies, equipment, and work area to ensure conformance to health standards;
. Ensure food quality is at high standards
. Maintain a clean and professional kitchen;
. Ensure proper recycling and food waste procedures are being followed.
Job Requirements:
. Education Completion of Secondary School
. Experience: Two years of related experience is required.
. Language: English
