Li’s Restaurant Limited, a family-owned restaurant that specializes in Chinese and Canadian Cuisine, is looking for a qualified Bookkeeper (NOC 12200).
Title: Bookkeeper (NOC 12200)
Wage: C$20/hour
Working Hours: 30 hours/week
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Work Location: Lewisporte, NL
Job Duties:
• Record daily financial transactions and invoices accurately.
• Balance various accounts to maintain financial stability.
• Collaborate with management to prepare detailed financial statements.
• Process payroll and manage bill payments efficiently.
• Complete tax forms, employees’ compensation documents, and other necessary paperwork.
• Generate insightful reports to guide decision-making processes and improve financial performance.
Job Requirements:
• Completion of secondary education is required.
• A college program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field or at least two years of financial or accounting experience
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
• Familiarity with Canadian tax regulations and reporting requirements
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for precision
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
