Sunrise Freight Systems Inc., located at 11 Sloan Drive, Caledon, Ontario L7C 2B8 is looking for one Logistics Supervisor on permanent full time position.
Main Duties of the Logistics Supervisor (NOC 12013):
• Plan, organize and oversee operational logistics of the organization, establish work schedules and procedures, resolve work-related issues
• Direct and co-ordinate inbound, outbound shipments with dispatching crews, scheduling, tracking transportation crews and freight routes.
• Resolve work-related problems (on-route accidents due to weather, truck maintenance problem, wrong deliveries, miss-communication, routes, and daily run sheet)
• Prepare and submit progress and other reports
• Arrange, monitor the maintenance and repair work of the equipment and machinery.
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies.
• Ensure smooth operations of computer systems and make arrangements for maintenance and emergency repair work time to time.
• Record and maintain files & records of driver logs, other work or services performed, charges,
• Ensuring adequate staff levels to cover for absences and peaks in the workload.
Requirements:
Minimum one year of experience is required in related field.
Completion of Secondary School is required.
Degree/ Diploma in business, supply chain, logistics or related field an asset.
Wage:
$27.00/ hour, 40 hours/week
