Job duties:
• Measure mark dimensions and layout using measuring tools and tapes
• Estimate cost of materials required for order of product
• Select materials needed for construction site
• Build complete frame structure of house/building
• Cut and shape wood materials for house framing
• Install windows, doors and stairs frames etc made of wood and steel
• Assemble wood and steel components with the aid of tools
• Assist clients with material options
• Follow blueprints to make specific frame designs
Job requirements:
• Completion of Secondary School is required.
• Completion of college program in carpentry or in a related field is an asset
• 2-3 years of related work experience is required.
Other requirements: Candidate should be physically fit and active
