Angel Pines Centre Ltd. is a licensed Infant and Toddler Group Childcare Center, catering to children aged 0-5 years, established in 2024. The predecessor of Angel Pines Centre Ltd. was Angel Pines daycare, which originated in BC and commenced providing essential childcare services to the community in 2022. Our primary focus is on fostering a positive and stimulating environment for children to thrive physically, cognitively, socially, and emotionally, laying a strong foundation for their future development.
We are currently seeking two ECEAs to join our team in cultivating a safe and positive environment and ensuring the overall well-being of the children under our care during daily activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support early childhood educators in implementing lesson plans, organizing craft materials, and setting up the learning environment
- Coordinate and participate in daily classroom activities such as circle time, outdoor play, tidying up, and free play
- Attend to childcare duties and record children's eating, sleeping, and restroom routines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized physical space through regular cleaning and upkeep
- Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and engaging learning atmosphere to nurture children's social and emotional growth
- Arrange rooms and furniture for various activities throughout the day
- Assist in creating midterm and yearly student progress reports, as well as engaging in parent-teacher meetings
- Generate routine classroom reports and discuss any emerging concerns about the children with the principal
- Participate in professional development sessions and staff training programs
Skills & Qualifications:
?Completion of secondary school
?Having a BC ECEA license
?Experience in a Childcare center is a plus
?Willing to go through a criminal Record check
?Strong understanding of child development and behaviour
?Be patient and detail-oriented
