C&M TRADING LTD is currently seeking a Logistics Manager to look after their Mississauga location. C&M TRADING is a high-profile trading company with a focus on imported variety of snacks, chocolate, cold drinks, groceries, home essentials and more!
As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for leading logistics and transportation operations. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, have exceptional problem-solving skills, be results-oriented and most importantly have a high customer service standard.
As a Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by ensuring adherence to all safety policies, procedures, standards, and regulations, and contributing to their ongoing effectiveness.
• Plan, direct and evaluate logistics operations of the store.
• Organize shift scheduling.
• Coordinate and monitor import activities of good coming from Southeast Asia.
• Prepare and submit relevant documents for customs declarations.
• Ensure point-of-sale systems and any other computer systems are functioning effectively; arrange for any repairs of equipment if needed.
• Manage and supervise the performance of team members within the shipping, receiving, storing and other related fields by conducting performance evaluations, training, coaching, feedback, and discipline.
• Complete requisitions to replenish materials or additional supplies.
• Check the status of all orders and ensure that they are delivered within designated timelines.
• Establish contacts with suppliers.
• Plan budgets, authorize expenditures, and monitor revenue with regard to logistics and transportation department.
• Maintain inventory of products and shipment schedules.
Requirements:
• High school diploma is required.
• At least 3-years of relevant experience overseeing a logistics, transportation, or import/export department is required.
• Ability to supervise a team of up to 10 people or more

• Language of Work: English
• Full-time (40 hours per week) employment, temporary position for up to 3 years with options for extension or transition to a permanent role
• Salary: From $25 – $38 depending on experience

• Standard overtime policy:
a) The employee is entitled to be paid overtime pay for each hour of work performed in the week after the total of 44 hours performed.
b) The overtime pay for each hour referred to in clause (a) is one and a half times the regular rate that applies to the work performed in that hour.
