Located in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, A Plus Auto Center provides car repair and maintenance services to our clients. As we plan to expand our business into the used car sales market, we are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team.

Job Responsibilities
-Greet all visitors and guests, direct them to contacts or service areas, ensure they are being dealt with in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
-Schedule and confirm appointments, provide appropriate advice and assistance to the customers and visitors.
-Answer and direct incoming calls and maintain call inquiry log; check and reply various emails; receive, sort, prioritize, and distribute incoming and outgoing mails.
-Prepare, key in, edit and proofread correspondence, invoices, presentations, reports and related material.
-Provide administrative, organizational, clerical and secretarial support within our center for the daily operational activities, handle customer complaints and grievances if there are any.
-Plan calendar, arrange activities, prepare manuals, assist in organizing promotion activities, manage and schedule rooms for employees, visitors, and other meetings.
-Maintain orderly appearance of the reception area, and staff rooms, etc.

Recruiting Requirements:
Education:
-Completion of a one- or two-year college or other program for administrative assistants or secretaries is required.

Experience:
-A minimum of one year of clerical experience is required.

Skills:
-Good communication skills.
-Customer service orientation.
-Attention to detail.
-Time management.
-Self-starter.
-Organized.
-Initiative.
