At this time, The Beaches Nurse Next Door is looking for skilled and qualified Administrative Assistants who are organized, independent, adaptable, and possesses excellent problem solving skills. Candidates will be expected to provide support to other employees and coordinates schedules. Key duties include directing phone calls, responding to inquiries, managing meeting schedules, perform general clerical work for the office, create and maintain recordkeeping systems, schedule appointments, take messages for staff, and facilitate communication with clients. Salary $28.39 hourly / 37.5 hours per Week

Responsibilities/ Tasks
Arrange and co-ordinate seminars, conferences, etc.
Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures
Coordinate the activities of the HR department in order to ensure they meet the organization’s goals
Direct staff
Open and distribute mail and other materials
Plan and organize daily operations
Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars and conferences
Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies
Schedule and confirm appointments
Manage contracts
Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
Oversee the analysis of employee data and information
Answer electronic enquiries
Compile data, statistics and other information
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations
Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
Set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems
Type and proofread correspondence, forms and other documents
Conduct research
Perform data entry
Provide customer service
Maintain and manage digital database
Perform basic bookkeeping tasks
