Duties: Fulfill stewardship responsibilities by ensuring compliance with Rolex Group standards, protocols, and controls within the SAV team
• Examine watches, disassemble and check for defective and misaligned parts to provide highest level of quality service and ability to follow specific direction on Rolex standards for servicing and repairing the movement
• Fabricate or fit parts to make watches and clocks to meet the high quality standards set by Rolex. This incudes the specific criteria standards for each Rolex calibre
• Clean all parts using special cleaning and rinsing solutions and ultrasonic or mechanical cleaning machines to remove dirt and dried lubricants to meet consumers expectations of Rolex, by meeting quality standards for polishing and timepiece presentation
• Test, adjust and regulate timepiece movements while maintaining the ability to describe the condition of the watch to be evaluated
• Identify, replace and repair worn or broken parts with the spare parts needed to repair the evaluated piece
• Share responsibility for ensuring the Workshop meets the needs of the business at an operational level
• Manage daily workload, manage time and plan appropriately to ensure to reach the expected quality standards and lead time targets
• Contribute to the overall productivity of the After Sales Service team, by skillfully and professionally preparing timepieces for complete service
• Receive pre-cleaned movements, disassemble, prepare parts request (return old parts) and prepare appropriate documentation using the timing analysis
• Inform the Technical Manager regarding any service related issues or estimate details that cannot be completed on schedule to meet the expected completion date
• Ensure the final aesthetic details are complete and match the work order. Confirm that the hands, date disc and dial are all correct. Ensure that all functions perform correctly and final aesthetic details are met (no dust or marks)
• Support the After-Sales Service team by identifying and communicating opportunities for improvement in quality and productivity
• Remain up-to-date on company products, features, innovations, updates, brand messaging, protocol and procedures
• Identify the root cause of problems with client requests
• Select the adequate service in accordance with the Brand’s policy while meeting the client request
• Propose a solution to solve the issue
• Dismantle the watch, remove strap/bracelet, separate movement/dial/hands from the case components
• Analyze and make decisions to repair any caliber needed except those calibers that require restoration
• Use or develop adequate tools or process to correct issues that can arise during the repair process
• When necessary, resolve issues related to limited access to spare parts by fixing existing components of the piece
• Install the dial and hands prior to encase the movement and close the watch
• Perform a first Quality Control to ensure that the piece is in working order
• Using the lathe, be capable of creating a high polished, finished or a brush finish on the bracelet


Requirements:
• Completion of technical Watchmaker College, certification or Apprenticeship
• Completion of secondary school
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in Watchmaking is preferred
• Completed Level 40 Certification
• Working experience with Luxury Brands
• Watch and Jewellery polishing experience
• High level of dexterity and focus to handle small parts with strong attention to detail
• Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer orientation
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong math aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to problem solve and exercise good judgment
• Comfortable balancing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to follow instructions and efficiently provide a high level of quality
