New Island Kingdom Restaurant is amongst the top restaurants in the Saskatoon area. We serve a variety of culinary delights that are served to the highest quality. Our extensive menu includes Japanese-themed dishes such as sushi and sashimi combos, stir-fries, spring rolls, soup, and more. We also offer vegetarian options!
We are now looking for two experienced cooks to join our team, who will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes and food. Candidates should have at least two years of experience with Japanese cuisine and be available to work during our opening hours.

Main Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
• Clean kitchen and work areas
Minimum Requirement:
• Minimum two years of experience as a cook.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary, familiar with daily procedures in the kitchen.
• Familiar with sanitation regulations.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Comfortable with working under stress.
• Dedicated to details.
