Position Title:
Food Service Supervisor

Duration:
Permanent, Full-time, Part Time
Salary:
$18.50/hour for 35 - 40 hours a week. Overtime applicable after 40 hours.
Positions available: 5
Anticipated start date:
As soon as possible (at the latest in 3 months)
Job Responsibilities:
• Direct and coordinate the activities of the front-end staff
• Assign workers to duties and prepare work schedules
• Resolve problems that arise such as customer complaints and supply shortages
• Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
• Hire and train or help arrange for training of new sales staff
• Maintain knowledge of product and services available in unit
• React immediately to issues requiring attention during the shift
• Encourage an exciting and fun work environment while motivating team members to meet goals
• Report to Manager and/or Assistant Manager on team member performance
• Assist in ensuring optimal team member coverage at all times and works various positions during busy periods to maintain optimal service levels through demonstrated floor leadership
• Comply with and enforce all Tim Hortons operating standards
• Ensures all restaurant policies are followed during the shift (e.g. cash policies, meal and break policies, food safety policies)
• Complete all required shift documentation and follows principles of sanitation and safety in handling food and equipment
• Represent the company and brand in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner in all customer and employee interactions
• Ensure that all team members and staff are taking and reporting their temperature at the start of their shift, team members are wearing disposable gloves, regularly changing them and regularly washing their hands

Requirements
Education: High School Education
Experience: 1-2 years of food preparation or service experience within the restaurant industry
Language: English
Additional skills and personal suitability
• A positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Customer service oriented
• Experience of motivating and leading team.
• Ability to remain calm whilst under pressure and fast paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Health regulations, safety standards and departmental and company policies should be followed in the work setup.
