Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our team. The Buyer will play a critical role in managing the procurement of high-quality products and supplies for our business. This includes maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, sourcing items, coordinating purchases and ensuring inventory levels align with customer needs. This position is vital to maintaining a smooth and efficient supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate, select and negotiate with suppliers to obtain high-quality products at competitive prices while ensuring timely delivery and reliability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers to support long-term business objectives.
• Analyze product requirements and forecast future inventory needs, ensuring stock levels meet customer demand.
• Oversee purchasing activities, including preparing and managing purchase orders, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
• Monitor and manage inventory to avoid shortages, adjusting orders based on market trends and fluctuating demand.
• Conduct market research to identify new products and stay updated on industry trends.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP and food safety regulations, maintaining accurate supplier certifications and records.
• Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules to ensure products arrive on time and meet quality standards.
• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring products adhere to required specifications and safety standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and operations to align purchasing decisions with company goals.
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $30-$32 per hour
Working Hours: 40 hours per week

Benefits: Group benefit packages, 2 weeks paid vacation per year or 4% of salary in lieu of paid vacation.
