Job Description:
Develop designs and drawings for residential, industrial, institutional, and commercial buildings and recommend design changes.
Preparing specifications and estimates.
Manage the computer-assisted design (CAD) and drafting workstation.
Overseeing the projects for construction specifications and cost estimations.
Preparing and interpreting specifications.
Supervise the work performed by drafters and provide them with the required training.
Prepare contract and bidding documents.
Finish the required documentation for drawing sets.
Examine drawings for conformity and errors.
Requirements:
Completion of High School education is required.
Completion of a college program in drafting or a minimum of 2 years of work experience in the same field is required.
