Sunrise Freight Systems Inc., located at 11 Sloan Drive, Caledon, Ontario L7C 2B8 is looking for a Long-Haul Truck Driver for a permanent full-time position.

Main Duties of the Long-Haul Truck Driver (NOC 73300):
• Operate and drive tractor-trailer to transport goods and material
• Plan trip logistics and obtain required documentation to transport goods
• Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories
• Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures
for transporting dangerous goods.
• Communicate any delays due to road conditions, accidents or breakdown with dispatcher using
on-board communication devices
• Logging hours and distances driven, rest stop durations as well as all fuel, repair and toll expenses
• Performing service checks on tire pressure, oil, and fluids levels as well as minor repairs when required
• Address customer’s complaints and concerns with Dispatch Supervisor.
Requirements:
Completion of Secondary School is required.
Experience in related field will be an asset.
On the job training is provided.
Wage:
$24.75/ hour, 40 hours/week
