FEI express is a courier services company and a designated retailer for UPS and SF Express founded in 2018. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Shippers and Receivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
Main job responsibilities:
•Selecting the appropriate shipping methods, coordinating the scheduling of goods distribution and arranging transportation.
•Complete required documentation for all shipments, including bills of lading, invoices and customs forms.
•Maintain accurate shipping and receiving records, including tracking numbers, shipping costs, and delivery confirmations.
•Track the inventory of shipping supplies (e.g., boxes, labels, packing materials) and reorder as needed
•Operate shipping and receiving equipment, such as barcode scanners, label printers, and pallet jacks, for efficient handling and processing of goods.
•Address shipping and delivery issues, such as lost or damaged packages or items
•Sort incoming and outgoing goods according to destination and delivery priorities, Packing items for shipment and unpacking received goods.
•Constructing containers and crates for shipping, Managing and guiding material handlers and support staff.
•Inspect packages for proper packaging, labeling, and address accuracy before shipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and shipping regulations.
•Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with drivers and courier partners. Ensure goods are picked up and delivered on time to meet customer expectations.
•Processing payments for incoming and outgoing goods.
•Prepare daily, weekly, or monthly reports on shipping activities, delivery times, and any issues encountered during the shipping and receiving process.
Qualifications:
•Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
•Experience: 1-2 years of experience will be an asset, but willing to train applicant if experience lacking
•Strong organizational and time management skills
•Attention to detail and accuracy in handling shipments
•Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
