Permanent Position : HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) mechanic (NOC #72402)

Wage Rate: $32.00/hourly for 40 hours a week
Main Location : 11825 99A Avenue, Surrey, BC V3V 2P9, CANADA
Work Location: Candidates are required to work at various locations in Lower Mainland, Greater Vancouver as per company contracts.
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, Early Morning, Morning, Weekend, Day and overtime, if required.
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience required
Language: English
Job Duties:
• Measure and lay out reference points for installation.
• Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems.
• Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements.
• Troubleshoot heating systems.
• Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components.
• Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment.
• Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices.
• Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system.
• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems.
