The Job
We are seeking a reliable Retail Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our gas station in Swift Current, SK. You will work closely with the owner and manage a team, ensuring smooth operations, excellent customer service, and proper management of fuel and convenience store activities.
Duties of the Retail Sales Supervisor include:
• Supervise and coordinate gas station attendants and convenience store staff, providing training and support to ensure efficient operations
• Prepare and manage employee work schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
• Manage merchandise inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing product display.
• Ensure proper cash handling, balance tills at the end of each shift, and report on weekly financials.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the gas station and the convenience store, including regular inspections of fuel pumps and equipment, and store display etc.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Supervise opening and closing procedures, ensuring the store and gas station are secure at the end of the day.
Requirements for the role:
• Completion of high school is required
• At least 1 year of retail sales supervisor experience or working as a similar role.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage staffs
• Able to stand for extended periods of time
• Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment
