Main Duties of the Shift Manager- Fast Food Restaurant (NOC 62020):
• Overall supervision of restaurant operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely order preparation in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Establish work schedules, estimate and order ingredients and supplies
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards set by the franchise corporation
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, prepare and submit reports
• Establish methods to meet work schedules,
• Train new or less experienced staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures
• Directs efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize customer satisfaction
• May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets
• Ensure adherence to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards and clean welcoming environment is maintained at all times.
• Resolve complaints, handle conflicts and professionally interact with Customers
Requirements
• Completion of secondary school is required.
• Minimum one year of experience in related field is required.
Salary: $17.60 per hour/40 hours per week
