Responsibilities:
– Prepare and maintain growing environments, including soil, trays, and climate-controlled spaces.
– Monitor environmental conditions such as temperature, humidity, and ventilation to ensure optimal growing conditions.
– Harvest mushrooms at the peak of freshness and quality, following proper harvesting techniques.
– Package and prepare mushrooms for distribution according to established standards.
– Load, unload, and transport containers as required.
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farm facilities, including cleaning equipment and maintaining inventory of supplies.
– Follow all safety protocols and adhere to food safety regulations to ensure the highest quality and safety standards are met.
Skills and Qualifications:
– Previous experience working in agriculture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform physical tasks, including lifting and bending.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
– Ability to work in a high-humidity and temperature-controlled environment.
– A team player.
