Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Checker to join our dynamic logistics team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse operations. You will play a key part in receiving, checking, and preparing goods for distribution. Your keen eye for detail and organizational skills will help maintain our high standards of inventory accuracy and efficiency.
As a Warehouse Checker, you will work closely with warehouse staff and management to verify incoming and outgoing shipments, conduct regular inventory audits, and ensure that all processes comply with health and safety regulations. This role requires a proactive attitude and a commitment to quality, making it an essential position within our logistics operations. What will you do in this role?
• Inspect and verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists, invoices, and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Check the appearance of all incoming shipments and parcels to ensure the packaging is undamaged and the tracking number is legible.
• Repairing and reinforcing damaged packages, reprinting and affixing shipping documents according to the information in the system.
• Sorting packages according to the address on the shipping order and package specifications and directing movers to store them in specific locations
• Check warehouse parcels daily to ensure that all express parcels are stored in the designated locations and are securely placed with no risk of dropping.
• Counts the number of packages in the warehouse on a daily basis and enters them into the system when they are warehoused.
• Contacting truck drivers and directing them to park in convenient locations for loading and unloading according to the shipping manifests
• Work closely with warehouse staff, supervisors, and logistics teams to coordinate the flow of goods and resolve any issues that arise.
• Help maintain an organized and efficient warehouse layout, ensuring products are stored in designated areas for easy access and retrieval.
Expected Qualifications
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• No requirement of experience. On-the-job Training will be provided.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 30 lbs), and perform physical tasks associated with warehouse operations.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying items and maintaining records to ensure the integrity of inventory.
• Ability to learn quickly and familiarity with the basic use of the computer.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and promptly interact with warehouse personnel and other departments.
